The friction and wear properties of the sample were tested by the wire contact rubbing test. The working principle is as follows: the active part is a standard rotating ring, and the passive part is a fixed standard rectangular block. By measuring the width of the strip grinding mark on the rectangular block of the passive specimen, the friction force and the friction coefficient between the friction materials, the bearing capacity of the lubricants and the friction and wear properties of the friction materials are evaluated. Under the condition of oil soaking, the lubrication performance of various lubricants is evaluated, and it is especially suitable for the simulation evaluation of the abrasion resistance of the middle and high grade automobile gear oil, and can be used in the study of the wear properties of various metal, non-metallic materials and coatings.
